One Piece World Collectable Figure WCF Vol.12

Lineup consists of the following:
  • TV089 Luffy
  • TV090 Nami
  • TV091 Nojiko
  • TV092 Bellemere
  • TV093 Genzo
  • TV094 Mohmoo
  • TV095 Chew
  • TV096 Arlong

  • Personal Best: Nothing really stands out for me. The only thing which I can remember is Bellemere's speech, asking her kids to stay alive.
  • POP Wannabe: Since there are Nami and Bellemere already, I will certainly like to have an adult Nojiko to be displayed with them. However, the chance of that happening seems remote =`(
  • WCF Wannabe: Seriously Mohmoo?! Banpresto could have included him in the WCF Zoo set if they really wanted to release him. I will prefer Hachi instead.
  • Room for improvement: Frankly speaking, I cannot "resonate" with the Nami Arc, so nothing to be happy or disappointed as regards to this WCF series. However, will prefer to have Nami figure in her green top as in the Arlong arc

One Piece World Collectable Figure WCF Vol.10

Lineup consists of the following:
  • TV073 Chibi Sanji
  • TV074 Zeff
  • TV075 Patty
  • TV076 Sanji
  • TV077 Luffy
  • TV078 Don Krieg
  • TV079 Gin
  • TV080 Alvida

  • Personal Best: Patty, The epic smile when greeting Gin "いらっしゃいませ,イカ野郎" before turning on him when he realized Gin did not have any money for to pay for food. (Epi.21)
  • POP Wannabe: Has to be Zeff! Will love to have all the benefactors for Mugiwara crews!!!
  • WCF Wannabe: Instead of this generic adult Sanji design, the kneeling Sanji is a much better choice
  • Room for improvement: Luffy - one side of his hat is rather "sqaure-ish". The figure itself is quite flat also. Both Sanji - They should have painted the part in which the hair cover Sanji's eye. Look like a small dent if you look closely.

Here is the box art, front and back view of all figures.

Megahouse POP MAS Tony Tony Chopper Horn Point

I am a BIG BIG Chopper fan and so excited when this figure is slated for release. It is an instant pre-order for me. チョッパーが大好きので、このフィギュアを買わなければりません。メガハウスさん、片言の日本語で一生のお願いですチョッパー他の変形を再現させていただけきませんありがとうございます

Box Art: 4/5 Box dimension are 30cm(H) by 20cm(L) by 19cm(W). The box design is pretty much based on showcasing different angles of Chopper. Nothing too fanciful or elaborate. I especially love the left view whereby they included おれは生意気な怪物だ!!! (lit. meaning I am a cheeky monster!!!) The famous line whereby Chopper has comes to terms with himself and become a monster to help Mugiwara Crews.

Figure: 5/5 It stands at around 22cm. I have to reiterate: Chopper fans should really get this even though it is a fixed pose without any accessory. Megahouse has broken away from their usual Chopperman line and introduced this badass Horn Point, one of his many transformation forms. Hopefully, Megahouse can make his other forms - Heavy Point, Walk Point, Guard Point, Monster Point. Being able to display all of them together is pure bliss!

Likes: As expected from Megahouse quality in terms of details, the horns are nicely sculpted instead of just being painted on it.

Dislikes: Nothing in particular.

Base: Instead of the one color scheme, Megahouse has used two colors for this base, pink with silver border which I like alot. Having said that, I prefer the pink to be more "lighter tone cloud pinkish". Just to conclude, Megahouse, please please please give me all the other transformation forms!

Bandai Figuarts Zero Luffy Battle Version Gomu Gomu no Hawk Whip

I am a big fan of Megahouse Portrait of Pirates POP Series. However, due to the recent influx of sexy bikini and naked torsos figures in that line, I started to deviate from it and collect Figuarts Zero figures, in particular, the Battle Version. This Luffy is one of the first figures. このフィギュアを買って、本当によかった。迫力があるし、塗装が良くできるし、雰囲気が出ましたね。大好きです \(^o^)/

Box Art: 4/5 Box dimension are 17.5cm(H) by 14.5cm(L) by 16cm(W). The big clear transparent window serves its purpose of showcasing Luffy's awesomeness to any potential collectors. The vibrant red theme attracts me for some reason to take a second look at it. I personally like the top window, with the 超激戦 (Chou Gekisen, lit. meaning Super Fierce Battle) design which add much more impact to the box itself.

Figure: 4.5/5 It stands at around 16cm. I miss out on the first Luffy battle version regrettably. So when the painted prototype pictures of this figure are released, I am partly sold. So happy when I opened up to review this figure as it is totally what I expected it to be. In terms of the pose and paint job, Bandai has done a great job to make it look so realistic.

Likes: The sole of the shoe are nicely painted and detailed. The effect motion part is great as well, making full use of the white and light blue translucent combination.

Dislikes: Nothing in particular.

Base: The reason for not giving a full 5/5 for this awesome figure will be the base. It is a nice touch by Bandai to provide us with the red base. However, the English translation on it "Gum Gum Hawk Whip" is kinda annoying me. Not a deal-breaker even if I had known it beforehand but still >o<. Just to conclude, I have been on the fence about owning Figuarts Zero figures but having own this figure, I am pretty much looking forward to future releases. Hopefully, we can see the rest of the Strawhats. ゴムゴムの鷹鞭 ^^v
